“ One of the best kebabs I've had in the city. Both the staff and the food were great. They have a wide variety of dishes and meals, including vegetarian options. The pizza was delicious and huge. The same can be said for the kebabs: the rolls were well-filled, well-seasoned, and very good. Such hearty dishes are rarely offered in Canberra. My only complaint is the cilantro; in Australia, they generally don't ask if you want it or not, they just add it to the dishes, and to me, for example, it tasted like soap (I wasn't blessed with the gene that allows you to eat it and enjoy its flavor, haha). But everything else was great. Definitely a place to return to if you're in the area. ”
“ Popped by there for takeaway (first time visit) and ordered one of their pides (Halal Special with all the meats) and a lamb kebab. The food was fast (maybe 10-15 minutes during a super busy time?) and stellar. The pide was gigantic, and so so good. Apart from the food quality though, I keep thinking about how thoughtful and lovely the cook and counter staff were. Apparently one of their cooks overheard my 3.5 year old remark about how she "wanted a burrito" while we ordered. A few minutes after we'd sat down to wait, he brought over a little mini-wrap filled with some meat, rice, veg and sauce. That was so incredibly sweet, and she loved it. This is such a family friendly feeling place (even when they're busy during the dinner rush) and we'd absolutely go again any time. I'd eaten a piece of the pide before taking a picture, because I couldn't wait to try it. My husband ate most of the kebab wrap before I could get a look at it, but the lamb filling I tried was great. ”
